Mar 19: We participated along with Sifang Automation (India) Ltd. at the Middle East Electricity exhibition from the 5th to 7th of March 2019 in Dubai. This exhibition is well attended by delegates from the middle east and north Africa. We even had some visitors from far away Mexico visiting our stall.

Day 1: We landed in Dubai on the 3rd of March only to be told that our equipment would be delivered to the stall on the 4th. So, we decided to do some site seeing heading straight for the Burj Khalifa and the musical fountains at Dubai Mall. After a hearty dinner there we retired to our rooms for much-needed sleep.

Day 2: Found us refreshed and back at the hall. Our products arrived thanks at some good work by Air Link and Kuehne and Nagel. The day was spent setting up the equipment. We left the hall satisfied that we had set up the stall to our satisfaction. Now for the visitors tomorrow…..

Day 3: The first day of the official exhibition began with a bang with a visitor from Mexico who was keen on our wireless breaker control as well as the Stat Com from Sifang Automation. The day was however slow with a lot of VIP movement.

Day 4: The second day of the exhibition brought a lot of visitors from different countries in the region. We were fortunate to receive visitors from Saudi, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and a few more countries. Most of them were main contractors interested in the CRP on display from Sifang. A few were keen on the portable battery charger Tragbar and the wireless breaker control devices.

Day 5: The last day of the exhibition was meeting up with old friends and ex-colleagues. We also had a visit from a senior executive from DEWA. All in all, a wonderful experience. We got to sit in a Tesla 3 taxi in Dubai and enjoyed the experience as it silently whizzed along Sheikh Zayed road. We will be back next year for sure.
